Hello, and welcome to my virtual art  gallery.  My name is Kiki Toussaint and I am a professional artist who  specializes in portraits.   I am a first generation Haitian-American who  is from New York, lived in Haiti and I now reside in Las Vegas. 

I  began to paint to fill the emotional void created by my father's death  in the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti in 2010.  Over a quarter  of a million lives were lost on that catastrophic day.  To make matters  worse, all commercial flights were grounded, so I couldn't travel to  Haiti which made me feel helpless.  During that difficult time, I  channeled my sorrow and energy into creating things that reminded me of  Haiti (my home away from home).  To this day, my paintings reflect my  love for the Caribbean.
